About the Practice

Lilac Psychiatry is a telehealth psychiatry practice dedicated to women's mental health across the lifespan. Every patient is evaluated and treated directly by Natasha Massoudi, MD, MPH.

We care for women across the lifespan, from late adolescence through the senior years, covering anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, trauma, PMDD, perinatal and reproductive mental health, and perimenopause and menopause.

Lilac Psychiatry provides telehealth care to women located in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Florida.

How Care Works

You meet with Dr. Massoudi by secure video from your own space. After an initial evaluation, care continues with follow-up visits, which may include psychotherapy and medication management, all delivered online.

Yes. When appropriate, Dr. Massoudi can prescribe and manage medication through secure telehealth for patients in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Florida. Some medications may carry additional requirements, which she will explain.

No. Medication is one tool, not the entire plan. Dr. Massoudi also provides psychotherapy and collaborative, evidence-based care. Many patients are treated with therapy, lifestyle strategies, medication, or a combination.

Your first appointment is an unhurried 90 minute evaluation. Follow-up visits are scheduled to fit your care plan.

Getting Started

Request a consultation through the website, and we will follow up to schedule your first evaluation and answer any questions. You can also review the New Patient Information page before your visit.

Your first visit is a conversation in which Dr. Massoudi learns about your history, your goals, and the context of your life before recommending a personalized plan. It is thorough and unhurried.

Lilac Psychiatry accepts some BCBS plans; otherwise services are “out of network.” If your insurance has this benefit, Dr. Massoudi can provide a detailed receipt to submit to insurance for reimbursement, according to your insurance’s policies.

No. Lilac Psychiatry is a telehealth practice, so all visits are by secure video and by appointment, which lets you receive care from wherever you feel most comfortable.
