A Physician Dedicated to
Women's Mental Health
Natasha Massoudi, MD, MPH, is a psychiatrist dedicated to women's mental health across the lifespan. Her focus spans the full arc of a woman's life, from the anxiety and attention struggles of early adulthood, through family planning, pregnancy, and the postpartum year, to the mood and cognitive changes of perimenopause and menopause. She understands that a woman's mental health is shaped by biology, hormones and relationships.
She completed a Women's Mental Health Fellowship at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. This is an elective, one-year training program at one of the country's most well-known and one of the longest running women's behavioral medicine practices. Dr. Massoudi solely focused on medication management, therapy, and lifestyle modifications - working directly with OB-GYN specialists and primary care physicians. She knows what women experience and how to put their story at the forefront of their medical care. Dr. Massoudi trained on the most clinically evidence-based treatment plans. Her approach blends clinical excellence with genuine care about you and your needs.
My Approach
Care at Lilac Psychiatry is collaborative and unhurried. Initial evaluations run 90 minutes, because understanding your history, your goals, and the context of your life takes time. Treatment is evidence-based and individualized, and it is built with you, not handed to you. Medication is one tool, not the entire plan. As a physician who takes a holistic approach to care, Dr. Massoudi draws on integrative modalities, therapy and medication to fit your needs, rather than a one-size fits all.
